Porcellio spatulatus (spatulate woodlouse) 6ct

This is a large, flat, wide-bodied species found in Southern Corsica, Sardinia, Sicily, and Northern Tunisia. There is a misconception within the hobby that this species prefers dry conditions, but our experience suggests otherwise. They prefer areas of higher moisture and will spend most of their time in such areas. However, like many large Porcellio species, they are prone to death from excessively wet substrate and stagnant humid air. Therefore, it's recommended to maintain higher ventilation. Although slow to reproduce, they have large broods. When disturbed, they display clinger behavior and a posture of tonic immobility.
