These specimens are most commonly labeled Eresus sp. 'balcanicus' in the hobby; however, they are most likely a locality variant of Eresus moravicus, known from the Balkans, which has yellow coloration on the prosoma and chelicerae rather than the orange coloration normally seen in that species.
