This is a small, nocturnal species of omnivorous gecko native to Southeast Asia and some South Pacific islands. However, it has been introduced to many islands and coastal areas of the Indian and Pacific Oceans, as well as the Neotropics, and is now considered a cosmopolitan species. This is an all-female, obligate parthenogenetic species. Males occur rarely, but are most often sterile. This species is easy to care for in captivity, requiring no special lighting and thriving in moist, planted vivariums at temperatures ranging from the 70s to the 80s(°F). They do well kept in groups provided the available space is sufficient to do so. When feeding insects, feeders should be gutloaded and dusted with reptile vitamin supplements, including calcium and vitamin D.

The product photo is an example of one of our mature adults. The specimens being sold vary in size and age, unless otherwise stated.
